DESCRIPTION:For the first time\, CISV Miami FL will be hosting a CISV STEP UP program for international youths ages 14-15 years! \nDuring Open Day\, the camp is open to the public for one day. It is the opportunity to show to the local chapter how the camp is going\, to practice national dance and dress up in the traditional costumes. \nCome to see the Step Up delegations from nine countries around the world! Each delegation is comprised of four youth ages 14-15 years\, 2 girls and 2 boys\, who are accompanied by an adult leader. \nCISV’s Step Up program is 23 days and encourages young people to take a leading role in planning and organizing activities. The participants and their adult leaders use CISV’s peace education to guide the theme of the camp around which they plan activities\, such as identity\, democracy\, or environmental protection. \nPlease bring a snack to share!
